  • What is a talent lightbox?
A talent lightbox is a personalised, curated shortlist of models, actors, presenters, voice-over artists, singers, or dancers who best match your project requirements. It’s ideal for casting a TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot or live event. Simply request a Lightbox, and our team will select and share a tailored set of talent profiles. • What is a talent self tape?
A self-tape audition is a convenient way for our models, actors, presenters, and voice-over artists to showcase their skills by submitting a short video. It’s a flexible way to show how talent perform on screen without an in-person audition. Self-tapes can range from a simple introduction, hand display, or side profiles to a fully scripted performance delivered to the camera. Self-tapes are useful for a range of projects such as TV, film, commercial, and voice-over projects, allowing you to compare multiple performances remotely. All videos will be sent in a secure format for easy access and review. If you’d like to request self-tape from shortlisted talent, just get in touch with our team and we will handle the entire process for you.
  • Can I cancel or amend my booking?
Yes - we understand that plans can change. You can cancel or amend your booking at any time, but please note that changes made within 48 hours of your shoot date may incur a charge. For full details on rescheduling, booking terms, and our cancellation policy, please refer to our T&Cs or contact our team. We’re happy to help you adjust your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event booking with as little disruption as possible.
  • Do I need to provide clothing and accessories for my talent?
No, you don’t. Our experienced models, actors, presenters, and performers have a versatile selection of wardrobe essentials and accessories suitable for most TV productions, films, commercials, photoshoots, and live events. If your project requires specific outfits, we can arrange for the talent to source or purchase additional items, with costs reimbursed later. Need a professional stylist? We’re happy to recommend one from our creative team. They manage all styling needs, from prepping wardrobe in advance to supporting talent on set. Top tip: Providing a wardrobe mood board can be incredibly helpful for our team and talent, ensuring your styling requirements are met with precision.
  • Do I need to book a make up artist?
Most of our models, actors, and presenters are experienced in doing their own hair and makeup for shoots. However, we always recommend booking a professional makeup artist (MUA) to ensure a consistent, high-quality look throughout your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. A makeup artist ensures visual consistency, providing on-set touch-ups and ensure continuity throughout the shoot. Need one? We can recommend a professional MUA from our creative team and seamlessly add them to your booking.
  • What should I expect from my talent?
All of our models, actors, presenters, and performers are experienced professionals who arrive on time, fully briefed, and prepared for your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. Presentation: Talent will have clean, fresh hair and skin, ready for makeup and styling. Nails: Neat, clean and polish-free unless a specific look has been requested. Professionalism: Our talent are accustomed to industry work and bring a positive, professional attitude to your project. If you need to extend your booking beyond the agreed hours, overtime can be arranged on the day without requiring an additional contract.
  • Do I need to provide food and drink for my talent?
No - you’re not required to provide food and drink for your models, actors, presenters, or performers. However, we always recommend offering lunch and refreshments where possible especially on longer shoots. This helps keep the shoot running smoothly and ensures talent stay energised throughout your TV production, film, commercial, photoshoot, or live event. If you prefer talent to bring their own food and drinks, please let us know in advance so we can inform them accordingly.
  • Do I own the images and/or videos?
Ownership depends on usage rights agreed at the time of booking. We offer two usage rights options available for your TV production, film, commercial, or photoshoot content: Time-Limited Usage – You can request rights for a specific number of years, after which the usage rights will expire. In Perpetuity – You can secure perpetual usage rights, meaning you own the images or videos for the agreed-upon usage terms indefinitely. Not sure which option suits your project best? Our team can advise on the most suitable licensing and usage rights for your content.
  • What does the term 'usage' mean?
‘Usage’ refers to the rights and permissions granted for the images and/or videos featuring our models, actors, presenters, and performers. It determines where, for how long, and in what context the content can legally be used. Common usage types include: TV & Film - Broadcast, streaming, or cinematic distribution. Social Media - Promotional use on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. In-House - Internal company use, such as training or presentations. Out-of-House - Public-facing marketing, including billboards and advertising campaigns. Point of Sale (POS) - Retail and in-store promotional displays. Video on Demand (VOD) - Platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube ads. Usage rights must be agreed upon before your shoot to ensure proper licensing. If you need advice on selecting the right usage terms for your TV production, film, commercial, or digital campaign, our team is happy to guide you.
